Additional Services Description
💶 CD – Cash on DeliveryThe shipment is handed over to the recipient only after payment of a pre-specified amount set by the sender. This amount represents the value of the ordered goods.
⚠ Cash on Delivery service is not available for cargo pallet shipments.
🛡️ OC – Declared ValueThe declared value represents the shipment value up to which liability is assumed in case of loss, theft or damage. Maximum liability: RON 20,000.
📄 DC – Proof of DeliveryProvides written confirmation of shipment delivery, returned to the sender after successful delivery.
✍️ DC-CP – Signed Document ReturnA sender-prepared document signed by the recipient upon delivery, returned to the sender on the next business day.
🔄 DP – Two-Way DeliverySend a shipment and have it returned with a 10% discount on the return transport service.
📅 SD – Saturday DeliveryAvailable only in cities served by Econt or local partners. Deliveries completed before 13:00.
📦 SK – Storage FeeStorage charges apply after the seventh day of keeping a shipment at an office or partner location.
🧾 PF – Processing FeeA Processing fee is charged upon the customer’s request for shipment orders fulfilled via third parties.
The fee covers administrative services and the processing of requests related to:
arranging the pickup of a shipment from a specified address;
providing an “Econt for you” warehouse address for shipment delivery;
receiving and registering the shipment at our warehouse;
processing and preparing the shipment for onward transport;
arranging the forwarding of the shipment to another country.
The processing fee is charged separately from transport and delivery fees.

Additional Conditions
- Redirecting a shipment from office to address delivery is charged at the applicable courier tariff with no additional redirection fee.
- If a shipment is cancelled, all services performed up to the cancellation request remain payable.
- If COD is collected in EUR and paid in RON, the bank selling exchange rate applies.
- If COD is collected in RON and paid in EUR, the bank buying exchange rate applies.
- COD amounts for legal entities in Romania are paid exclusively by bank transfer.
- COD amounts converted into another currency use the official UniCredit Bulbank exchange rate valid on the shipment acceptance date.
- COD amounts for individuals in Romania are limited to RON 10,000.
- The combined value of COD and courier charges for individuals cannot exceed RON 10,000.
- Delivery times exclude the shipment collection day. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in Romania and Bulgaria are non-working days.
- Fuel surcharge and road condition fees are added to the delivery price and updated monthly by Econt.
- Price calculation: General Service + Additional Services + Fuel Tax + Road Conditions.
- Tariff weight is the greater of actual or volumetric weight, rounded up to the nearest kilogram.
- The actual weight equals the combined weight of all shipment pieces.
🚚 Delivery Times
- Bucharest ↔ Bucharest: 1 business day
- Other localities: 2 business days
- Locations without an Econt office: up to 5 business days
